Cursings turned into Blessings
In Numbers 22-24, Balak sought to have Israel cursed because he was afraid of their large number and feared they would conquer Moab. He thus sent for Balaam, a prophet who was well known, and asked him to curse Israel. Instead Balaam dared not go against God, "How shall I curse whom God has not cursed?", and blessed Israel. There are many applications in this lesson for us today. There are many passages in the New Testament that tell of cursings (or things that we do not desire to endure) that produce blessings.
